About James Pearson
James Pearson is a UK born Fine Art Photographer and Digital Artist. Born in the early 60s, James had a long and successful career in Architecture, his work being honoured by numerous awards. He retired from Architecture a few years early in order to concentrate on his passion for The Visual Arts.
James’ style of Fine Art Photography draws heavily on fine art photographers of the late 19th century and early 20th century yet introduces a contemporary element to compliment this. With a strong element of shape, form and composition, James’ Fine Art work explores the beauty of both growth and decay in nature – expressing subtlety, tenderness and delicacy in its pictorial style, bringing something fresh and exciting to the world of Contemporary Fine Art Photography.
Later coming to the discipline of Digital Art, James soon developed his own style, which encompasses Abstract and floral Art, with a strong vibrant palette, which sits as a juxtaposition and yet complimentary to his work as a Fine Art Photographer.
Having been recognised by Artist Jack Thompson for James’ formidable talent and exquisite artworks, James secured exclusive representation in 2024 with Jack Thompson Art Gallery and Agency.
