Frequently Asked Questions
(Q.) What payment methods do you accept?
(A.) All Major Credit & Debit Cards using our Stripe Payment Processor.
(Q.) Is my payment secure?
(A.) We use industry standard SSL Encryption security throughout our site and shop, so you can shop with confidence and peace of mind. The padlock symbol next to the address bar of the page beginning with “https” indicates that you are in a secure setting.
(Q.) What happens after I place an order?
(A.) Most of our artworks are printed-to-order, and so once your order has been placed and payment processed, you will receive a confirmation email. Details of your order will then be securely passed onto our dedicated and trusted 3rd Party Fine Art Printer ready for printing, and where relevant, mounting or signing will then be completed. Once this process is complete, you will receive notification that your artwork has been dispatched.
(Q.) Do I need to register or create an account to shop with you?
(A.) Not unless you prefer to.
(Q.) Do you sell gift vouchers?
(A.) Yes, we do. You can purchase gift vouchers through our shop or contact us for higher value vouchers or for further details.
(Q.) When I place an order, how long does it take to arrive?
(A.) Whilst our artworks are printed-to-order, we endeavour to process and dispatch your
order within two weeks, although it is often far sooner. You should receive your artwork
within three-four weeks, bearing in mind shipping times may vary depending on location,
country or region, or on local or global issues.
(Q.) Where do you ship to?
(A.) We ship to most countries of the world.
(Q.) If there’s a problem with my order, what should I do?
(A.) If, in the unlikely event you have any problems, please contact us in the first instance,
and we’ll make it our business to resolve any problems. Please also refer to our policies and terms of service for further details.
(Q.) I’d like to enquire about placing a special or bespoke order. Do you offer other sizes and artworks than those in your shop and gallery pages?
(A.) We currently offer either one size of each of our artworks on our online shop pages or in the case of James Pearson’s artworks – a selection of sizes. However, if you would like to discuss other size options for any of our artworks, then please don’t hesitate to Contact Us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.
(Q.) Do you offer a mounting service for your Artwork?
(A.) Yes, with the exception of James Pearson’s artworks, all of Jack Thompson’s artworks come mounted and also have backboards to them. These are bespoke made to the highest standards from museum archival quality acid-free mountboard.
(Q.) Will my Artworks come with a frame?
(A.) In order to keep our costs down for our customers, the artworks we sell online, don’t come framed. Please refer to ‘Our Craftsmanship & Materials’ page for further details and advice on framing.
Please note – our Fine Art High Gloss Acrylic Panel Prints by James Pearson however, are designed to be hung as they are.
(Q.) What is the difference between a Limited Edition and an Open Edition Print?
(A.) A Limited Edition print means that only a certain limited number of prints of that
particular image and size will be produced by the Artist, and once those are sold there won’t be any more available. The limit is set by the Artist and each print is numbered as such within that particular edition limit. For example, 1/100 or 2/150.
(Q.) Will my Artwork be signed and come with a Certificate of Authenticity?
(A.) When you buy one of our Limited Edition prints, it will be signed with the edition number and signature on the front of the mount. We provide Certificates of Authenticity exclusively for our Limited Edition range of prints. The certificates are embossed with the official stamp of Jack Thompson Art Studios, and/or, signed by Jack Thompson.
(Q.) How do I best care for my Jack Thompson Artwork?
(A.) All our artworks are shipped with detailed care instructions, which can also be found
on ‘Our Craftsmanship & Materials’ page.
(Q.) I’d like to contact you regarding ideas for a collaboration, project or contract. Would you be interested?
(A.) Yes, providing we can accommodate this. Contact us and let’s talk further…
